Sonny is disturbed when he sees a woman with a disfigured face on his terrace, who suddenly disappears. Sonny confronts Faith, who denies any wrongdoing [but later tells Alcazar that their plan is working]. Sonny finds Carly's name on Lily's headstone.

Sonny continues to be haunted and fears he is losing his grip on reality, but doesn't tell Carly about the strange sightings. Carly's arrival thwarts Capelli's plan to kill Nikolas.

Alcazar is pleased with the progress he's making in driving Sonny over the edge.

September 26, 2003

Sonny gives Jason the go-ahead to eliminate Alcazar permanently. Courtney tells Carly she fears Jason is going to kill Alcazar. Jason sees someone attacking Alcazar. Carly finds a nearly dead Alcazar in the alley. At The Cellar, Faith confronts Sonny, who orders her to leave. Alone, Sonny is shocked when he sees Lily standing before him.

September 29, 2003

Carly saves Alcazar's life and gets him home with Dillon and Georgie's help. Sonny believes his continued visions of "Lily" mean he will lose Carly and their unborn baby. Sonny accuses Carly of having feelings for Alcazar when she explains why she saved Alcazar's life.

September 30, 2003

Carly tries to convince a jealous Sonny that she doesn't have feelings for Alcazar. Sonny reaches out to touch "Lily," but stops when Carly calls out to him.

October 1, 2003

Sonny admits to Carly that he has been seeing Lily's ghost. Marcella later appears before Sonny once again as Lily.

October 2, 2003

Sonny has another sighting of "Lily" in the cemetery, which Faith also sees. Jason, Carly, and Courtney try to convince Sonny that he isn't seeing ghosts. Michael returns home with a chilling message from "Lily" for Sonny.

October 3, 2003

In the cemetery, Sonny attacks Jason when he pulls a gun on "Lily," who makes another appearance. Alone, "Lily" returns to Sonny and tells him there is a problem with Carly's unborn baby's heart. Carly asks Courtney to take her to the hospital for another ultrasound. Carly, Jason and Courtney are shocked when Sonny arrives at the hospital and claims there is a problem with the baby's heart, which Dr. Meadows confirms.

October 6, 2003

At the cemetery, Marcella - as Lily - warns Sonny that something is going to happen to Carly and her baby and that it will be Sonny's fault. [Alcazar wants to manipulate Sonny into leaving Carly. Marcella feels sympathy for Sonny.]

October 7, 2003

Sonny becomes angry when Jason voices his belief that Lily's ghost isn't real. Courtney agrees to go away with Jason. Bobbie throws a surprise party for Carly and Sonny but Carly arrives alone. Meanwhile, Sonny goes to the cemetery where he asks Marcella how he can save Carly and her baby. Marcella feels guilty about torturing Sonny.

October 8, 2003

After speaking with "Lily," Sonny fears something is going to happen to Carly at Luke's. Sonny forces Carly to come home with him. Alcazar is pleased by Sonny's paranoia. Sonny tells Carly he is leaving in order to keep her safe.

October 10, 2003

Sonny warns Alcazar to stay away from Carly. Courtney agrees to marry Jason in France. Courtney is thrilled when Jason arranges for Sonny and Carly to attend their private wedding ceremony.

October 13, 2003

Jason and Courtney are married in front of Sonny and Carly in France. Thinking Sonny will be traveling alone, Alcazar arranges to sabotage Sonny's private jet as he flies home from France. Alcazar is horrified to learn Carly is on board the jet. Sonny and Carly face a crisis while in the air.

October 14, 2003

Sonny and Carly fear they might not survive when their plane begins to lose fuel. Sonny and Carly share poignant goodbyes with Jason, Courtney, and Michael. Meanwhile, Alcazar is devastated to think he might be responsible for Carly's death. After making a safe landing, Carly tries to convince Sonny that nothing bad will happen to her or the baby by his being around them. Sonny still believes he's a danger to Carly and walks away.

October 15, 2003

Jason and Courtney are surprised when Sonny announces that he is moving in with them temporarily. Carly refuses to move into the new home Sonny bought for her and Michael.

October 16, 2003

Alcazar grabs Marcella before Carly sees her. Johnny secretly leaves a letter from "Lily" for Sonny at the penthouse. Sonny encounters Marcella as Lily. Sonny realizes he is being set up after Marcella slips up in answering one of his questions. Carly arranges a meeting with Alcazar in an effort to make Sonny jealous.

October 17, 2003

Carly backs away from using Alcazar to try and make Sonny jealous. Sonny becomes furious when Carly admits she called Alcazar to arrange a meeting. Michael interrupts Sonny and Carly's argument.

October 20, 2003

Sonny suspects that Alcazar is responsible for "Lily's" visits. Carly reaches her breaking point and walks out on Sonny. Carly falls down the stairs as she explores the house Sonny bought for her. Sonny is desperate to find Carly and reconcile with her. Alcazar accuses Sonny of hurting Carly.

October 21, 2003

Sonny and Jason search for Carly. Carly lies unconscious at the foot of the stairs in her new home. Ric questions Sonny about Carly's disappearance. After getting a lead, Jason and Sonny storm Alcazar's jet looking for Carly but find Marcella instead. An unseen person finds Carly as she goes into labor.

October 22, 2003

Sonny and Jason question Marcella, who confirms Alcazar's obsession with Carly. Courtney finds Carly, who convinces her to go and get help after they're unable to get a signal on their cell phones. Courtney manages to reach Jason, but crashes her car before she can tell him where Carly is. Alone, Carly's labor intensifies. Sonny and Alcazar hold each other at gunpoint and fire their weapons as the storm knocks out the power.

October 23, 2003

Alcazar escapes from Sonny. Capelli finds an unconscious Courtney and calls Alcazar. Courtney tells Alcazar where to find Carly but passes out again before she can tell Jason. Alcazar finds Carly about to give birth. Courtney tells Sonny that Carly is at the new house with Alcazar.

October 24, 2003

Carly forces Alcazar to promise to save her baby's life over her own should the situation arise. Alcazar declares his love for Carly. Sonny battles the storm and arrives at the house to hear Carly scream but is unaware she's suffering labor pains. Sonny races inside and shoots Alcazar when he thinks he's hurting Carly. Sonny delivers Carly's baby. Carly loses consciousness and Sonny realizes she has a bullet wound in her head.

October 27, 2003

After being shot by Sonny, Alcazar drags himself out of the house and into the woods. Sonny delivers Morgan, his and Carly's son. Sonny admits to an arriving Jason that he shot Carly, who is rushed to the hospital. Elizabeth begins to soften towards Ric after he comes to Jason's aide. Sonny must decide whether or not to authorize surgery which could endanger Carly's life, but which she almost certainly will not survive without. Jason has the dOctoberors examine Morgan, who is healthy.

October 28, 2003

Sonny gives his consent for Carly to be operated on immediately to remove the bullet from her brain. Sonny breaks down when he holds Morgan for the first time. Sonny's heart breaks when Michael accuses him of hurting Carly. Sonny soothes Michael. Courtney suggests that she and Jason take care of Morgan until Carly's medical crisis is over. Alcazar refuses to press charges against Sonny. Sonny learns that Carly is in a coma and may have suffered brain damage. Ric arrests Sonny on charges of attempted murder.

October 29, 2003

Sonny is released from jail on bail. Sonny and Alcazar both try to get through to a comatose Carly, who experiences a dream in which she ends up with Alcazar instead of Sonny.

October 30, 2003

While comatose, Carly dreams of a parallel universe in which she falls in love with Alcazar. Jason attends a meeting of the five families in Sonny's place. Faith arranges for a massacre at the meeting and Jason dives for cover as the bullets fly. Faith tells Sonny that she is in charge now.

October 31, 2003

Jason survives Faith's massacre at the warehouse. Faith informs Sonny that he will do as she says or suffer the consequences. Sonny is relieved to see Jason alive. Sonny confronts Faith and is ready to kill her but can't go through with it after having a flashback to shooting Carly. A comatose Carly continues to dream of romance with Alcazar.

November 3, 2003

Sonny tells Jason that he is walking away from their business in an effort to keep Carly and his family safe. [Courtney becomes alarmed when Jason announces that he is going to take over for Sonny. Courtney fails to convince Jason to walk away from his dangerous life. Courtney tells Jason that she is leaving with Michael and Morgan.] A comatose Carly dreams of both Sonny and Alcazar.

November 4, 2003

Sonny agrees to allow Courtney to take Michael and Morgan away from Port Charles for their protection. Jason is opposed to Courtney's decision. Courtney is devastated when Jason walks away from her. In Carly's dream, Sonny vows that he will win her away from Alcazar.

November 5, 2003

A comatose Carly dreams of spending time with Sonny, which angers Alcazar. Alcazar insists to Sonny that he is helping Carly recover. Alcazar challenges Sonny and wonders if Sonny would rather have Carly remain in a coma instead of allowing Alcazar to try and reach her.

November 6, 2003

The dOctoberor informs Sonny that Carly's brain activity increases during Alcazar's visits. Sonny has no choice but to allow Alcazar to spend time with Carly. A comatose Carly dreams of saving Sonny's life after Alcazar orders him to be killed.

November 7, 2003

While comatose, Carly dreams that Sonny helps her deliver her and Alcazar's baby. Back in reality, Sonny orders Alcazar away from Carly, who opens her eyes. Faith informs Sonny that she is taking over The Cellar.

November 10, 2003

Sonny bars Alcazar from Carly's hospital room after Tony informs him that Carly is suffering emotional pain in her coma. A comatose Carly dreams of walking out on Alcazar after he kills Sonny.

November 12, 2003

[Alan asks Jason to help Sonny face the fact that Carly may never wake up.] Sonny becomes angry with Jason when he suggests Carly may not recover while insisting Carly would want Sonny to get on with his life. Sonny later apologizes to Jason but refuses to sign the papers transferring Carly to a long-term care facility. A comatose Carly dreams of reconciling with Alcazar and spending the rest of her life with him. Back in reality, Carly awakens and sees Alcazar standing over her.

November 13, 2003

After Carly comes out of her coma, Sonny explains how he accidentally shot her. Bobbie senses that something is not quite right with Carly, who remains slightly distant. Carly remains privately troubled about the dream she had while in the coma. Alcazar tells Carly that his love saved her.

November 14, 2003

Sonny refuses to listen to Jason's warning that Carly needs time to adjust before seeing her family. Carly orders Alcazar out of her room. Carly goes through the motions of mothering Michael and Morgan but is privately disturbed. Sonny promises Carly that he is going legit and apologizes for all he has put her through. Jason tells Sonny that Carly is pretending to have feelings for her family that don't exist anymore. Carly calls Alcazar and asks to see him.

November 17, 2003

Jason fails to convince Sonny that Carly doesn't feel connected to the life she knew before the accident. Carly summons Alcazar to her room. Carly becomes upset when Alcazar declares that she is in love with him. Sonny presses Carly to remember the love she has for her family. Carly admits to Courtney that she doesn't feel love for the people she is supposed to care about, which Alcazar hears via a bug he planted in Carly's hospital room.

November 18, 2003

Carly admits to Courtney that she has developed feelings for Alcazar. Carly resolves to pretend to love Sonny until her real feelings return. Sonny senses a change in Carly. Alcazar finds an upset Carly in the hospital chapel and pulls her into a kiss. Carly is shaken by her feelings for Alcazar. Sam tries to cozy up to Sonny in an effort to get revenge on Jax.

November 20, 2003

Carly confesses to Courtney that she doesn't feel love for Sonny. Cameron warns Carly that her brain damage may prevent her feelings from ever returning. Carly privately panics when Sonny tells her that she will be going home soon. Alcazar finds Carly missing from her hospital room.
